Cisco SFP-10G-SR 10GBASE-SR SFP Module
The Cisco SFP-10G-SR 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Module delivers high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for short-distance multimode fiber (MMF) applications. Operating at a 850 nm wavelength, it supports transmission over OM3/OM4 multimode fiber for distances of up to 300 meters, suitable for intra-building, rack-to-rack, or data center interconnects.
The Cisco 10GBASE-SR Module supports a link length of 26m on standard Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade Multimode Fiber (MMF). Using 2000MHz*km MMF (OM3), up to 300m link lengths are possible. Using 4700MHz*km MMF (OM4), up to 400m link lengths are possible.
Designed in a compact SFP+ form factor, this module is hot-swappable, allowing easy installation and replacement without interrupting network operations. It supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time visibility into optical performance, helping maintain optimal network reliability.
The Cisco SFP-10G-SR is well suited for switch-to-switch connections, server uplinks, and aggregation links, offering consistent performance, low power consumption, and seamless compatibility with Cisco SFP+-enabled networking equipment.
